Join us on October 10 at 6PM to celebrate four new sculpture acquisitions! In 2024, CRANE, with the help of the community, purchased Flamino Antonio’s “Comforting Melody”, currently installed near the Armadillo Ranch. In addition, three artists have donated sculptures to Manitou Springs’ permanent collection. Dale Pittock donated the iconic “Watts New” in honor of his friend and community icon Joel Grotzinger; Larry Terrafranca donated “Portable Deity”, now located in the Shoshone Spring pocket park, and Gregory Fields donated “Germination”, which lives in front of the historic spa building.
Please meet us at the Wheeler Town Clock at 6:00PM for cookies and a few words. We will then be retiring to Armadillo Ranch at 6:30 for complimentary appetizers and happy hour priced drinks at 6:30PM. And please stay to hear Frog and Fiddle play at 7:00PM. Manitou Springs has free parking starting at 6:00, and you can get 30 minutes free prior to that through the parking kiosks. We hope to see you there!
